Tubtara® stands for strong and secure threaded rivet nuts fastened into thin metal, thick metal, or composite and plastic material. If there is no possibility of thread forming, or too hard to be threaded, Tubtara® blind rivet nuts will be your solution, especially for boxes or enclosure applications. From multiple sheets application, Tubtara® can also be used as a rivet to join sheets together. The application can be in any critical environment, including aerospace, automotive, electronics, railway, medical and food, marine and offshore, solar panel, or air conditioning installation.
Tubtara® Blind Rivet Nuts
- Open End Rivet Nuts
- Applications
- Features
Tubtara® open end rivet nuts are used to bring in a strong and reliable thread into thin or thick metal plates/profiles, composites, or plastics where thread forming is either not possible because the material is too thin/weak/brittle or too hard for thread forming. Rivet nuts from Tubtara® also can be used for on site repair and maintenance work.

- Available in aluminum, steel, and stainless steel (304 & 316)
- Can be installed even in close-to-edge applications
- Tubtara® rivet nuts are available with hexagonal, round, and knurled bodies
- If there is no standard solution suitable, Tubtara® can design and produce special blind rivet nuts to fit in your application (for example: Multigrip rivet nuts, big head rivet nuts, extra-long rivet nuts…)
- Closed End Rivet Nuts
- Applications
- Features
Tubtara® closed end rivet nuts are used to bring in a strong and reliable thread into thin or thick metal plates/profiles, composites, or plastics where thread forming is either not possible because the material is too thin/weak/brittle or too hard for thread forming. The huge benefit of closed end rivet nuts is that they can ensure water/gas tightness up to IP67 and IP68.

- Special Rivet Nuts
- Applications
- Features
Tubtara® special/customized rivet nuts are used to bring in a strong and reliable thread into thin or thick metal plates/profiles, composites, or plastics where thread forming is either not possible because the material is too thin/weak/brittle or too hard for thread forming. The rivet nuts can be individually adjusted to your application needs. Dependent on your application requirements, together with our knowledge and the R&D department of Tubtara® we can suit the needs of almost every application.
In the past Tubtara® developed for example rivet nuts with...
- increased torque to turn resistance
- spacer functions
- visual identification
- controlled deformation to fit into plastic and composite applications
- higher grip ranges
- high vibration resistance to secure the screw from not falling out
