Precote® 5 is a nonreactive, film-forming dispersion with mineral solid lubricants for coating threaded parts. It is a physiologically harmless precoating for immediate sealing of cylindrical and conical threads. The dried film is tack-free to the touch.
Features:
Internal thread must have a countersink (no sharp-edged threads inserts), otherwise the patch could be peeled off when the screw is installed. A special inhibitor avoids corrosion also on brass fittings.
Thread seal with Precote® 5. Threaded parts, screws, pins, plugs etc. Tube connections for sealing against gases and liquids.
Threaded parts form M3 up to M68. Lengths up to 220 mm. Nuts from M5 up to M12.
