The challenge - digitize internal material flow
One of Willemin-Macodels goal was to optimize the internal material flow in a more digitized way. The assemblers and the intralogisticians already worked with Kanban card. Often they lost a lot of time looking for the right item for their assembly stations.
Our solution - Increased efficiency thanks to digitization
We have organized ourselves into 2 teams. One team transformed the central warehouse into our fully automated SmartBin Cloud. Meanwhile the other team placed our smart modular SmartLabel Clouds in more than 30 mobile stations along the assembly line. With the expansion of SmartBin at Willem-Macodel, they will now have access to the SmartBin Cloud system, electronic Kanban and of course the Last Mile Management. Our intralogistics solution Last Mile Management allows us to guarantee a higher productivity due to no disruptions or even stops during production processes.
