PEM® GhostTM is a true innovation and the essence of a perfect connection: secure, easy to disassemble for authorized personnel and yet completely invisible. This is made possible by a concealed pinch-lock, which is combined with a magnetic opening mechanism. In this way, there is no visible evidence of disassembly when connected.
PEM® Ghost: Invisible connection technology
How it works
PEM® GhostTM consists of two parts that are clinched into the respective mating parts. The female connection part can be inserted into the underside of a component, for example, so that no connection components are visible in the locked state.
The connection engages by simply pressing the two elements together. The grip-lock can only be released by magnetization. In the case of several installed PEM® GhostTM parts, all connections must be magnetized at the same time in the correct position so that the two components can be released. An individual unlocking tool is used for this purpose.
Like the unlocking tool, the PEM® GhostTM connectors can be customized for the respective application.
Aesthetics and Access Control
Thanks to the total invisibility of the fixings, new and fascinating design possibilities open up. Furthermore, it is possible for manufacturers to restrict access to products to unauthorised users.
