Who cares about the sun? We do.
Venetian blinds have to work for many years and under every weather condition. Griesser AG, the Swiss high-quality producer of solar shading systems, was looking for an especially long-lasting cable tie solution for external venetian blinds.
With a weather-proof cable tie that can be used up to 85° C, the blinds can be supplied faster and easier and warranty work can now be avoided.
Keeping engines cool – without loosening
Cooling systems for diesel engines can play a crucial role e.g. in protecting large cargo ships.
An optimized solution for fixing the coolers and avoiding loosening of bolts due to large dynamic vibrations was the goal of this project.
In the end, along with better product quality, costs and assembly time were reduced.
Type plates – installed quickly and efficiently
Turbochargers primarily have to work smoothly and reliably. A high-quality producer of turbochargers was optimizing its production and looking for a better solution to install the type plates on the products.
Bossard Speed Rivets provide an improved design for the type plate. Significant cost savings due to shorter assembly time have been achieved at the same time.
The rattle test
Toodler-proof products are in demand. Babies have a firm grip that places extreme stress on even the smallest parts, such as the fasteners of child safety gates.
On good terms with the caretaker
School caretakers don’t have it easy. Bossard and Embru-Werke AG, a long-established and leading Swiss manufacturer of school furniture, are making life easier for them.
The fisnished product delivered by Bossard is a specially made screw for chairs that has a thread diameter of 4.5 mm. It cuts the thread the first time it is inserted and it comes with a speciall supporting shank.
No margin for error in blood analysis
A leading medtech company must be able to count on Bossard. Devices for medical diagnostics require mechanical components that operate with the utmost precision.
The initial bolt procured through Bossard ensures ultra-precise centering of the needle for pipetting reagents from the various cartridges.
Pleasant temperatures thanks to tailored solutions
It started a few years ago with the supply of standard parts, and has become an intensive cooperation between Condair and Bossard. With the fully automated logistics system "Bossard Smart Bin", not only fasteners are managed, but also engineered parts.
Maximum precision for plastic materials
A Czech specialist in the production of plastic parts by air-assist forming technology was looking for an improved solution to assemble metal frames to tractor bonnets. With a new, special hex head screw the customer improved quality and production efficiency at the same time.
