The EVO PT® is the evolutionary further development of the PT® and Delta PT® self-tapping direct screw connection for plastics. The innovative thread forming process produces a torque curve during the tightening phase that is almost independent of the screw-in depth. This means that a uniform tightening torque can be used in production for different screw lengths.
The special thread tip leads to an even load on the thread flanks when screwed in, as the screw centers itself in the screw hole during the screw-in process. Furthermore, this innovative thread tip enables easy insertion in the screw hole. This screw thus offers greater economy through less parts diversity.
