Bossard enhances its position in the field of electrical engineering

Bossard intends to acquire the company Intrado AG (Hünenberg), which has served the Swiss industry with a wide range of electrical engineering products for over 25 years.

Intrado AG is a fully-owned subsidiary of Jacob GmbH in Kernen, Germany, and is a general importer for the Jacob GmbH cable glands program.

With the planned acquisition of the company Intrado AG, Bossard will be complementing its own range of fastening components for the electrical engineering industry, as well as strengthening its competence and expertise in a field that requires intensive consulting.

The company Jacob will also have the opportunity to distribute its products globally via Bossard.

In 2012, Intrado AG reached a turnover of CHF 3.2 million with 10 employees.
